Ingredients
-
1 (12-count) package King’s Hawaiian Rolls
-
½ cup butter, melted
-
2 tablespoons brown sugar
-
½ teaspoon cinnamon
-
½ tub (about 6 oz) Philadelphia No Bake Cheesecake filling
-
1 cup powdered sugar
-
2 tablespoons milk
-
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Prep the Baking Dish
Brush about 2 tablespoons of the melted butter over the bottom and sides of a baking dish. Place the Hawaiian rolls inside the dish and use a knife to carefully cut out the center of each roll to create a well for the filling. -
Make the Cinnamon-Sugar Butter
In a small bowl, mix together the remaining melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Using a pastry brush, coat the tops and insides of the rolls generously with the butter mixture. -
Bake the Rolls
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the prepared rolls for about 10 minutes, until the sugar begins to caramelize and the rolls are slightly golden. -
Prepare the Glaze
While the rolls are cooling, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. -
Assemble the Cheesecake Danish
Once the rolls have cooled slightly, scoop about 1 to 1½ tablespoons of the Philadelphia No Bake Cheesecake filling into the center of each roll.
-
Finish with Glaze & Serve
Drizzle the prepared glaze over the danishes and enjoy immediately!
