Ingredients
- 8 slices of brioche or challah bread
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar (plus more for dusting)
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp butter (for frying)
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
2. Assemble the Sandwiches
Spread the cream cheese mixture onto one side of four bread slices. Add sliced strawberries and a spoonful of strawberry jam on top of the cream cheese layer. Cover with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
3. Coat the Sandwiches
In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.
