Description

These Banana Split Dessert Kabobs are a playful, no-fuss twist on the classic banana split! Perfect for parties, BBQs, or any fun gathering, they combine fresh fruit, rich brownies, a drizzle of chocolate, and a sprinkle of nuts—all served on a stick for easy eating. Pair them with a side of whipped cream for dipping, and you’ve got a show-stopping treat that’s as fun to make as it is to eat.

Ingredients

  • 12 small strawberries, washed, dried, and tops sliced off

  • 12 pieces pineapple, cut into 1-inch pieces and patted dry

  • 12 brownie chunks, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 2 small bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1/4 cup chocolate candy melts

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped peanuts

  • Whipped cream, for serving

Instructions

  • Prep the fruit:
Wash and dry the strawberries, then slice off the tops. Pat pineapple pieces dry. Slice bananas into 1-inch chunks.

  • Assemble the kabobs:
Thread 2 strawberries, 2 pineapple pieces, 2 banana pieces, and 2 brownie chunks onto each skewer, alternating ingredients for a colorful display.

  • Add chocolate drizzle:
Melt the candy melts according to the package directions until smooth. Transfer to a Ziploc bag, snip the corner, and drizzle over the kabobs.

  • Top with nuts:
Sprinkle chopped peanuts over the kabobs while the chocolate is still tacky.

  • Chill:
Place kabobs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill until ready to serve.

  • Serve:
Serve chilled with a small bowl of whipped cream for dipping!
