Banana pudding meets the nostalgic crunch of Rice Krispie treats! These Banana Pudding Rice Krispie Treats are the ultimate no-bake dessert, combining gooey marshmallows, crispy rice cereal, and the creamy, sweet flavor of banana pudding. Topped with crushed vanilla wafers and a drizzle of white chocolate, they’re an easy crowd-pleaser that’s perfect for potlucks, picnics, or an after-school treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 5 cups mini marshmallows

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

  • 5 cups crispy rice cereal

  • 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers

  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional, for drizzle)


Instructions

  • Prepare the Banana Pudding Mixture:
    In a small bowl, whisk together the banana pudding mix and milk until smooth. Set aside.

  • Melt the Marshmallows:
    In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and smooth.

  • Combine the Mixtures:
    Stir the prepared banana pudding mixture into the melted marshmallows until fully combined.

  • Add the Cereal and Wafers:
    Remove the pot from heat and stir in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated. Fold in the crushed vanilla wafers for extra flavor and crunch.

  • Assemble the Treats:
    Lightly grease a 9×13-inch pan. Press the mixture evenly into the pan using a greased spatula or wax paper to prevent sticking.
    (Optional) Melt the white chocolate chips and drizzle over the top of the treats.

 

  • Cool and Serve:
    Let the treats cool completely at room temperature, about 1 hour. Cut into squares and enjoy!
