Description

This Apple Delight is a creamy, layered dessert with a buttery graham cracker crust, smooth cheesecake filling, and sweet apple pie topping. It’s easy to make and perfect for fall gatherings!

For the Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling

 

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 container (16 ounces) Cool Whip, thawed, divided
  • 2 cans (21 ounces each) apple pie filling
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Crust

  • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 13×9-inch baking dish.
  • Place in the freezer while you prepare the filling.

Step 2: Prepare the Cheesecake Layer

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Gently fold in half (8 ounces) of the Cool Whip.
  • Spread this mixture evenly over the frozen crust.

Step 3: Add the Apple Layer

  • Spoon apple pie filling evenly over the cream cheese layer, spreading it out so every bite gets apple goodness.

Step 4: Top with Cool Whip & Chill

  • Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the apple layer.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (or overnight for best results).

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!

 

  • Before serving, sprinkle chopped pecans on top for a crunchy finish (optional).
